We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic full-time hourly Assistant Manager to join our team at SnackLab, a fast-paced smoothie, bowls and grab-and-go restaurant focused on healthy eating. The Assistant Manager will support daily operations, lead by example, and ensure our guests receive exceptional service. This role requires a passion for healthy living, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in managing daily operations, including food and beverage preparation, inventory control, and customer service.
· Supervise, train, and mentor staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences and maintain a positive and productive work atmosphere.
· Manage store staffing and scheduling needs.
· Assist with staff hiring, training, and evaluation
· Have a deep understanding of our healthy menu offerings, including smoothies, juices, coffee drinks, and gluten-free, organic snacks and meals. Be able to recommend options to customers.
· Help manage inventory levels, place orders, and minimize waste by keeping track of supplies and ingredients.
· Ensure the restaurant meets Arkansas health and safety standards, including food handling, cleanliness, and hygiene protocols.
· Work with the General Manager to boost sales, upsell menu items, and meet revenue targets.
· Handle customer concerns or staff issues with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
· Assist with local marketing efforts, including supporting social media content creation that aligns with our brand’s health-conscious mission.
Job requirements include:
· Minimum 1 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in food service, coffee shop, hospitality, or a fast-casual restaurant.
· Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team, as well as effectively lead a team. Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
· Must have open availability, including some weekends and holidays.
· Available for catering support.
· Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment and work with a sense of urgency.
· Strong work ethic and integrity
· Familiarity with POS systems and basic inventory management software is a plus.
· Understanding of gluten-free, organic, and health-focused food trends is an advantage.
